In October of 2012, Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, leaving a path of destruction and devastation in it’s wake. Sadly, our American Legion Union Beach Post 321 was among Sandy’s victims, the Post was destroyed. This left us with no place for our Legion, the Sons or our Ladies Auxiliary without a place to call home or carry on our normal Legion business.
After an almost 3 year struggle we overcame all adversity and difficulties in building our new American Legion facility. We are now in our brand new building and we are once again a fully functioning American Legion Family and able to proudly serve our Veterans and the community.
